Worried in Wexford
Friday 25th June
Rosslare raising money

A new patch of low pressure is moving through, bringing strong winds from the south.

Now in Wexford, Simon will be taking each day as it comes, hoping that this low passes quickly... and that it doesn't keep him off the water.

Simon's week
Talking to BBC Radio Shropshire's Chris Ashley, Simon revealed that it had been a tough week. Despite calm seas, it took 18 hours of paddling on Monday to get from Holyhead to Dublin.

Then the weather closed in. Gales up to Force 9 meant that even short distances required hard work and some careful paddling.

By Friday, Simon was feeling very tired, but had reached Wexford
on the south east corner of Ireland.
