Once again the weather is against Simon as he leaves Lyme Regis bound for Dawlish. Yet Simon is left frustrated and mentally and physically drained by the winds and tides that hamper his progress.

Leaving Dawlish things improve more and the wind and tides are no longer against him. He makes landfall for the night at Blackpool Sands.
