FACTS

This is the ninth 'Carols in the Square'. The first year's event was held at Shrewsbury Castle.

Wem Jubilee Band musical director Roger Thorne is a hard task master - he refuses to let the band wear their overcoats, whatever the weather.

Planning for Carols in the Square 2002 is already underway.
