Gladiator star turns invisible

Salman Khan to star in the sequel to Mr India alongside Anil Kapoor and Sridevi

Salman Khan made a grand comeback to the silver screen in Boney Kapoor’s thriller, Wanted. The movie did very well at the UK box office despite its 15 certificate by the British Board of Film Censors.

Boney Kapoor was so thrilled by Salman’s performance that he wants the actor to star in his next film venture. The movie will be a sequel to the all time box office classic fantasy, Mr India which starred Anil Kapoor in the lead role.

Mr India 2 will see Salman Khan playing the super hero with the ability to become invisible for combating the villains. The movie will also star Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. It also sees the grand comeback of Sridevi who acted in the original version.

The movie which will be directed by Anees Basmee of Welcome and No Entry fame, is said to open a whole new world of special effects for Bollywood. Shooting schedule is expected to start in March 2010 with an expected release date of 2011.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan fans can look forward to his forthcoming release, Veer, in 2010 where he will be seen playing the role of a gladiator fighting the British Empire in India.
