Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar in De Dana

De Dana Dan

The stars from Hera Pheri reunite in this Priyadarshan laugh riot destined to be popular with the UK audience.

Directed by: Priyadarshan
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Neha Dhupia and Sameera Reddy

Nitin (Akshay Kumar) and Ram (Suneil Shetty) are two handsome, eligible bachelors who are popular with the ladies. Their love life may be sizzling but their bank balance is showing a zero balance – they are totally broke!

To add insult to their injuries, their rich girlfriends Anjali (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet (Sameera Reddy) have given them an ultimatum. They either earn enough money so they can elope or forget them forever.

Broke and desperate, Nitin and Ram decide to make some quick bucks. So they hit upon an audacious plan. They decide to kidnap Moolchandji, the spoilt dog of rich lady Archana (Archana Puran Singh).

But Moolchandji runs away and the police think it's Nitin who's been kidnapped.

As the guys try to get their hands on the ransom money, they encounter assorted characters like a Chinese Don, a hired assassin, a club dancer, a young frustrated wife, a drunken waiter and a dead body nobody wants!

What happens next is De Dana Dan, full of twists and turns making you laugh all the way till the end!

Priyadarshan once again re-unites his team of actors from Hera Pheri - Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal and Katrina Kaif – in De Dana Dan.

Computer graphics have been used in De Dana Dan to make us believe it is filmed in Singapore. Using computer wizardry, scenes were filmed against a green background and later superimposed on places based in Singapore during post-production.

This way, director Priyadarshan was able to get all the stars in one place at one given time!

Akshay Kumar fans will see their favourite hero doing some dangerous stunts leading to a fun-filled and action-full climax. The film releases in November 2009 in UK cinemas.
