Aamir may star in Chuck Russell film

Aamir Khan the new super hero?

Aamir Khan may very well play the lead in the movie based on Lord Hanuman directed by Chuck Russell.

Plans are underway for a new super hero in the making. The character is inspired by Lord Hanuman, a powerful God from the epic Ramayana. It is American producer, Uru Patel’s idea to make a film based on Hanuman.

Keanu Reeves and Gary Oldham have been approached to play Lord Rama and Raavana respectively. However the producer is searching far and wide for an actor to play the role of Hanuman.

Only recently, Aamir Khan had been approached for this prestigious role. Although nothing has been confirmed, Aamir is expected to undergo further discussions before giving his decision.

The movie will be directed by Chuck Russell of The Scorpion King, The Mask and Mandrake The Magician fame.
