Duke Chawla lives a gratifying life as a successful doctor. He lives alone with his pet dog, Junior. Duke is in love with career minded Nalini. They plan to marry soon. So Duke has just signed a deal for their dream apartment they plan to move in after marriage.
On the professional front, Duke’s research on cancer has recently been acknowledged by the American Medical Association.
The medical journal describes Duke's unique ability of performing the most complex surgeries with great ease and with 100% success rate. That’s because he strongly believes in ‘hope’ which most of his patients have lost.
Soon, a sudden turn of fate ends Duke’s perfect world. During an accident, he is paralyzed neck down. Bed ridden, Duke's hospital room becomes his world.
Nalini leaves him, friends stay away and those who want to be by his side are yelled at by Duke himself. Bitter and angry with himself, Duke hates his condition so much wishing he had died. A man, who was an angel to many, loses all hope himself.
Naughty and stubborn minded hospital patient, Roshan, enters his life. Their initial encounter is not a happy one but slowly Roshan wins over Duke's heart.
They both strike a common chord when Roshan describes the view from his hospital window. Roshan talks about the courageous tales of people who have not given up hope. This motivates Duke from his dimmed aspirations.
As Roshan and Duke become good friends, Roshan expresses his wish to save his sister Roshni who is dying of cancer.
Duke takes it upon himself to finish his research to treat Roshni. He restarts work and in every low phase, Roshan boosts his morale and motivates him.
Will Duke be able to fulfill Roshan’s wish? Will he be able to complete his research and help Roshan's little sister? And what about Roshan himself? Why has he been admitted in hospital? This heart-warming story reveals all when the movie releases in UK cinemas.
