Arun Pajapati, an out of luck television reporter, has reached the end of his tether. Nothing seems to go right for this man. Even his love life is at a standstill because he is too scared to reveal his feelings to Alia (Priyanka), his colleague at the television station.

To top it all up, Rocky (Sohail), his rival, is always one step ahead of the game, giving Arun no chance for promotion.

Home life for Arun is a sheer misery too. He has to put up with a nagging father who taunts him for being unsuccessful. And he is also finding it hard to find suitable suitors for his sister. So Arun blames God for all his misfortunes.

Losing his job is the final straw. As he vents his anger on God, the Almighty grants him his divine powers. But as Arun uses his godly powers for personal gain, problems start  arising, forcing him to realise that he is not the right person to take ultimate responsibility for the world we live in.

The basic plot of director Rumi Jaffery's God Tussi is a direct copy of the Hollywood film, Bruce Almighty. What's more, even Amitabh Bachchan, dressed in white, copies Morgan freeman's role in the Hollywood version.

There is no comparing Salman Khan to the likes of Jim Carrey, but he does manage to pull off some laughs with effortless ease, especially in scenes with Sohail Khan. His magnificent screen presence proves yet again that he is a crowd-puller.

Priyanka Chopra does not have much scope to show off her acting talents, but does look pretty in the song and dance sequences. On the whole God Tussi Great Ho is entertaining fare with an underlying message for the cinema goers.

Ok, it is a copy of Bruce Almighty but this has its moments of laughter, sorrow and a message, which is what a majority of bollywood films include.
