Clee Hill Voices
Alf Jenkins is passionate about Clee Hill's ultra-local dialect, which is still spoken by a few today. In the film Alf explains how the local dialect came about.
Alf has lived on and around Clee Hill all of his life. As a young boy he was brought up speaking the very local Clee Hill dialect.
Alf claims the dialect was barely understood just five miles away in Ludlow. Alf still uses the old language today if only to confuse the grandchildren.
