Keith with Toyah
Keith presents the weekend Late Show on Saturdays and Sundays from 10pm till 1am on BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC Radio Stoke and BBC Hereford and Worcester.
Possibly the most famous name to emerge from Ellowes Hall Secondary School – what else is there to say about Keith Middleton?
Well, quite a lot actually – most of it to do with radio, because that's what he does best.
Like so many other broadcasters, he started in hospital radio – Stour Valley in Wordsley in the Black Country and BHBN in Birmingham.

He arrived in Shropshire via Buzz FM, Beacon Radio, Radio Maldwyn, Sunshine 855, Marcher Gold, The Wolf, Signal Radio and Radio Luxembourg... well, no, he didn't actually have a show on Luxembourg, but he had a very nice time when he visited.
Keith was under the impression it was easier to get into Buckingham Palace than the BBC, but apparently someone left the back door unlocked at BBC Radio Shropshire. He crept in and we hadn't the heart to tell him he'd found his way into the broom cupboard using a loo brush for a microphone and trying to play CDs on the floor polisher.
Now Keith has made the weekend Late Show his own. You can hear him from 10pm every Saturday and Sunday night. He's just as much at home talking to the stars as he is to the people who phone in for his great competitions.
You have to listen just to hear him chuckle.
