Grab your scorecards and dust off your dancing shoes, Strictly Come Dancing is back!
The fabulous 16th series is bringing glitz, glamour and show-stopping moves back to Saturday nights on BBC One.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be the glamorous hosts for this BBC One Saturday night extravaganza, which once again will come live from Elstree Film and Television Studios with a one off special live from the Tower Ballroom, Blackpool.
This year, as in previous years, we are operating a random draw to make the allocation of tickets as fair as possible.
Registration is now open and will remain open until 4pm on Wednesday 29 August 2018. All successful applications will be drawn at random.
We have a limited number of seats in the studio and as we have such a huge demand for tickets, we are restricting the number of tickets and dates that you are eligible for.
You can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets per show.
Multiple applications for the same date will be deleted.
You can apply for as many dates as you wish but if you are successful in the random draw you will only receive tickets for one date and this date is non transferable, so please choose carefully.
Please note that entering the random draw does not guarantee tickets and you will only be notified of your successful application on receipt of your tickets.
Tickets will be dispatched to successful applicants two to three weeks before each recording.
Please be aware that mobile phones are not permitted in the studio and will be taken from you as you come on site and returned at the end of the evening.
Please note that photographic ID is now required for entry to ALL recordings. Visit our FAQ: What ID should I bring with me on the day? to see what is accepted.
Good luck with your application.
Admission to these recordings is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.

Strictly and Albert+
Strictly Come Dancing is being made implementing environmentally positive production methods. As part of BAFTA’s environmental certification scheme called Albert+, we are doing our best to reduce the potential environmental impacts of the show. Environmental and sustainability issues have long been reflected in the programmes and content we make and broadcast, and it is important to us that they are also embedded in the way we operate and run the BBC. So in keeping with these goals we would like you, the studio audience, to consider how you will attend the recording. We would appreciate it if you would consider using public transport rather than less environmentally friendly modes of transport like individuals in petrol/diesel cars, in order to help us reduce the overall carbon emissions created by the production of this show. We would like to thank you in advance for taking part in the show and helping us improve the BBC's impact on the environment.
