Don’t miss your chance to walk the red carpet and to enjoy a free screening of BBC One’s The Midnight Gang before anyone else.
The Midnight Gang is adapted from the bestseller by popular children’s author David Walliams and isn’t broadcast until Christmas. It tells the story of a young boy called Tom who finds himself in hospital after being hit on the head by a cricket ball. On the children’s ward he discovers the Midnight Gang, a secret group of children who go on midnight adventures in the hospital making dreams come true.
David Walliams appears in The Midnight Gang as the headmaster. He is joined by Alan Davies as the scary porter, Haydn Gwynne as the kid-hating matron and Amit Shah as the slightly nervous Dr Luppers, while Tom is played by Oliver Zetterstrom. The Midnight Gang is made by King Bert Productions.
As well as a sneak peek of The Midnight Gang, families will also be able to walk the red carpet and pose for photos with famous props from some of the BBC’s biggest shows - so don’t forget your camera!
Advance screenings of The Midnight Gang are taking place in Newcastle, Sheffield, Bradford, Birmingham, Liverpool, Salford, Norwich, Lincoln and York.
**Please note while all screenings are indoors (either in a building or our pop-up cinema) the red carpet is outdoors - so please wrap up warm!**
Tickets are free and will be allocated via random draw with 80% of tickets going to local postcodes* and 20% to the rest of the UK.
You can register for tickets at any time until 12 noon on Monday 3 December.
You can apply for a maximum of four tickets and should you be successful, you will only receive tickets for one screening.
Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Photographic proof of ID must be shown by all over 18s. If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry. If your photo ID does not match the name on the ticket you will not be admitted.
Please take a look at our FAQ to see what type of photo ID is acceptable.
Admission to these screenings is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
