Breaking the News is back for series fourteen on the radio and series two on the TV!
BBC Radio Scotland’s multi-award-winning topical comedy panel show is hosted by comedian Des Clarke and invites a mix of the UK’s top comedians, commentators and up-and-coming stand-up talent to take a satirical swipe at the week’s news in Scotland and around the world.
Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Photographic proof of ID must be shown. If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry. If your photo ID does not match the name on the ticket you will not be admitted. If you request two tickets because you are taking a guest along, that person will only be allowed in if they are accompanied by you.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.

From Edinburgh: M8, come off at Livingston (J3). Slip road to dual carriageway (A899).
From Glasgow: M8, come off at Livingston (J3). 1st exit off roundabout onto the dual
Dual Carriageway to Howden Park Centre
A899 towards town centre exit Almondvale junction - exit marked Craigsfarm South (brown HPC tourist sign). At the bottom of the slip get into the right hand lane, take the 2nd exit from the roundabout. Left hand lane at the lights and follow the brown Howden Park Centre sign.
Through the roundabout to the next one (Civic Centre on your left) and take 3rd exit. Turn left at the next Howden Park Centre sign (into Toronto Avenue). Left into Howden Park. Follow the road to the end.
Free parking - 115 spaces (8 disabled). The car park will be locked over night.
Howden Park Centre is well served by buses it is a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal at Livingston Shopping Centre. The closest bus stops are on Howden East and at the entrance to St John's Hospital, with both a 2 minute walk away.

Howden Park Centre's public areas are fully accessible for those with limited mobility.
There are eight parking spaces reserved for blue badge holders. Facilities include ramps, a lift, three adapted toilets and wheelchair spaces in the auditorium. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Hearing Induction Loop
We offer Induction Loop facilities for people with hearing impairments. For customers with hearing aids there is an Induction Loop at reception, in the theatre and in Space 1. There are also portable units available at reception for people who are hard of hearing which are usable in the theatre and Space 1.

Public car parks are situated directly across the road from the theatre.
Enter Dunfermline on the A823. Turn left onto Nethertown Broad Street at the roundabout under the rail bridge. Turn right at the traffic lights into Moodie Street. Follow the road around and the Alhambra is on the corner of Canmore Street.

Please note that there is on-street metered car parking surrounding The Mitchell Library. As this is also a local residential area, please use these spaces considerately. Alternatively, there is an a NCP Car Park on India Street next to Charing Cross Train Station which is a 2 minute walk away.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and a bowl of water can be provided.
There is a fixed loop hearing assistance system.
