** We've been able to release some additional tickets for this event which will now be allocated on a first-come first-served basis **
The BBC WM Community Games 2019 is a brand new free festival of sport being staged in Birmingham this summer! It's your chance to come and try out up to 50 different sports and activities at the world-famous Alexander Stadium, the focal point for the Commonwealth Games in 2022.
BBC WM will be broadcasting live from the stadium as part of its Get Moving campaign - designed to encourage everyone in the West Midlands, whatever their age and abilities, to get active. There'll be something for everyone. From aikido to tennis, athletics to boxing, roller blading to basketball and many more. And it’s all free. Visitors will also get the opportunity to meet their favourite presenters and world-class athletes and sports personalities will be visiting across the weekend to inspire us all to Get Moving! There'll be food and drink available, or you could bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it!
You can apply for a maximum of six tickets per day.
Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Photographic proof of ID must be shown. If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry. If your photo ID does not match the name on the ticket you will not be admitted. If you request two tickets because you are taking a guest along, that person will only be allowed in if they are accompanied by you.
Please take a look at our FAQ to see what type of photo ID is acceptable.
Admission to this event is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
