Bizarre ER, the BBC Three medical series, wants patients and medical staff to share amusing, unusual, challenging or ground-breaking cases from A&E, including
- bizarre injuries, illnesses and accidents
- curious treatments and operations
- amazing recoveries from the brink
as long as significant recovery has taken place.
Cases in the last series included leech therapy used to treat a man scalped by an industrial lathe, and a man impaled in the eye by an 8-foot metal pole - doctors saved his sight.
