Five miles north of the Argyll town of Lochgilphead lies the Kilmartin valley, host to ancient artefacts, Bronze Age discoveries and neolithic ruins.

More info: Start at Carnasserie Castle car park. This is a walk through ancient history, with spectacular scenery and nearby wildlife and natura trails. Take care walking by the sides of the road or drive between the stops.
