The Falkirk Wheel Falkirk Wheel
This feat of engineering is the world's first steel rotating boat lift which connects the Forth and Clyde, and Union Canals between Glasgow and Edinburgh. You can see the Wheel in action on the site, along with other facts and figures.

Fire your imagination with the GSC's online site. The GSC claims to "bring science and technology to life through hundreds of interactive exhibits in the Science Mall and the unique experiences of the GSC IMAX® Theatre and the Glasgow Tower." Except, that the Tower is currently closed.
