How I laughed when I saw the kids in Carlisle on Rep Scot the other night wearing their goggles to protect their eyes from low-flying conkers. "The world's gone mad!", might be your first reaction, but sadly in our world of increased litigation and sensitivities this is but one example of our growing caution.
I guess we have to face up to the fact that our world is changing and not always in ways we like. Is it really changing faster than it did in years gone-by or does it just seem that way?
