A few eyebrows were raised here at their use of the headline for the piece, "Half of babies born to single mothers". Much more shocking until you realise they are actually referring to the 49.5% of babies born out of wedlock - NOT to mothers living alone ie. single.
Jack McConnell will no doubt be pleased to hear that BBC Scotland's Interactive department will have produced seven babies in a six-month window this year! Indeed, regular readers of Scotblog might be interested to read that 'oor Martin' is currently up the hospital as we speak with his wife in labour! Go, Martin.
