Nicki is devastated by Zoe's departure.

Biography

Nicki looks up to Zoe more as a surrogate mum than a big sister and she always turns to her for advice and support. Zoe and Nicki wanted nothing more than to get their mum off the estate where she was surrounded by junkies and pushers, and get her clean.

Nicki had an innocent, unquestioning love for her mum, which Zoe tried to preserve, shielding her from the harsh reality wherever she can. With her mother has gone, she formed a bond with Alice but was horrified when she discovered that Alice had tried to frame Mac. She moved in with Mac, Zoe and Deek, and was enjoying family life until Zoe became panicky about Mac's intentions towards her little sister.

Mac was hounded out of Shieldinch and Nicki struggled to understand why - he never touched her and she didn't know who to believe any more. Luckily time has helped heal Nicki. She went out with Dilip for a while but they had to stop seeing each other when he started working for Lenny. She's started seeing Eddie and Tina's son, Jamie, and they're helping each other through their troubles.

She was very close to George and was devastated by his death. Shirley is a surrogate grandmother to Nicki and so she's been really disturbed by Robert's behaviour and frustrated that nobody else could see his true colours. She was left unconcious when Robert's violence reared its ugly head and he held Nicki and Shirley hostage. Luckily, Billy and Malcolm managed to free them but Robert has run away and Nicki survived with few injuries. She was very shaken up by the experience but is getting back to her normal self.

Jamie and Nicki recently talked about sleeping together and were mortified when their families offered loads of advice about safe sex! They did sleep together but Nicki was a bit freaked out by the enormity of her emotions. They've decided now to take things slowly.

Nicki has become firm friends with Amber but Lenny's daughter is a bit of a bad influence!
