Lydia is furious with Ewan after she discovered he slept with Zoe! Well, she thinks he slept with Zoe. It was all a set up. She feels she has to protect Rory.

Biography

Lydia is Lenny's second wife. Together they have a daughter, Amber, and live in the Buchanan family's old house. She's very caring and loves Amber very much, despite the inevitable teenage rebellion! She's also very close to Rory, one of Lenny's sons by his ex-wife.

Lydia's a very strong, hard-working woman who is delighted to have opened her own boutique, Hola. This is her break for independence since bringing up Amber but the business was set up with her husband's money and he's happy to have a legitimate business front to hide behind.
She doesn't agree with Lenny's dodgier dealings and doesn't want to know any of the details but she does enjoy the lifestyle it provides.

Since arriving in Shieldinch, she has clashed with Scarlett. They got on just fine until Scarlett discovered the identity of Lydia's husband! Since then she's gone out of her way to make trouble, but Lydia's proved to be a cunning adversary.
