Severe delays leaving Edinburgh on the M8 this evening; a broken down HGV at Junction 3 Livingston is now clear, but traffic is still very slow moving on approach.

In Stirling, roadworks on the A84 near Craigforth are causing delays both ways, affecting drivers coming off the M9 at Junction 10.

And on the M8 in Glasgow there are delays both approaches to the Kingston Bridge.

In North Lanarkshire on the M73, it's taking 20 minutes to get through the restrictions southbound from Junction 3 Mollinsburn at the A80 down to 2a Gartcosh.

And on the M74, there's a 15 minute delay southbound through the contraflow between Junction 4 Maryville and the Raith Interchange, but moving well northbound.

Long delays both ways on the A8 between Greenock and Port Glasgow. Roadworks between Newark and Woodall roundabouts are causing a 35 minute queue westbound. Eastbound the delay is around 10 minutes. These roadworks will be in place until Monday morning.
