Latest report from the BBC Scotland Travel team
Updated: Tuesday 01 December 2009 at 1809 GMT

On the M90 at Friarton Bridge the accident has now been cleared northbound and traffic's moving steadily.

The breakdown has also been recovered from the A720 Edinburgh city bypass eastbound between Calder and Baberton. Traffic's still heavy on the approach and on the M8 eastbound approaching Hermiston Gait.

M8 traffic through Glasgow is still queueing eastbound from junction 22 Plantation through to 15 Townhead, westbound between 13 Provan and 22 Plantation.

Finally, the weather is disrupting many of Calmac's sailings so best check before heading out.

BBC Scotland travel reports are broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland from 0600 - 1800 every weekday and 0700 - 1200 on Saturdays.
