Snow and ice affecting many roads throughout the country this evening, and this is set to get worse as temperatures drop making driving conditions treacherous in parts, especially on minor untreated roads.
Grampian Police say Fife Street in Dufftown is closed following an accident. And the A98 Banff and Fraserburgh road is very badly affected by snow and ice. There have been a couple of accidents along this stretch this evening. The gritters are out, but it may take time to cover the affected area.
On the A80 Cumbernauld Road, there's been a breakdown northbound between Condorrat and Auchenkilns causing delays.
Heading into Glasgow on the M8, slow moving westbound approaching the Kingston Bridge, with further westbound delays at Junction 26 Hillington.
Finally there's an additional train service running from Edinburgh to Aberdeen this evening, leaving Edinbrugh at 18.30, arriving Aberdeen at 21.12.
