Northern police are advising drivers of the following closures; the B869 Unapool to Lochinver, the B871 Kinbrace to Syre, the B885 Struan to Portree, the B9007 Carrbridge to Glenferness, the A838 at Moine and the A984 at Skiag Bridge.
Grampian Police say travel on the B999 is not advisable.
Lothian and Borders police are urging drivers not to travel unless completely necessary. The A702 is closed at Nine Mile Burn in Midlothian and is also partially blocked at Biggar in South Lanarkshire. Police are asking drivers NOT to use the A68 at Soutra.
The A7 is closed between Hawick and Selkirk. In Peebles, the A703 Edinburgh Road is passable with care but not advisable. And in Oxton the A697 is closed both ways between the A68 and the Wester Row.
On the trains, there's line problems between Inverness and Aberdeen and Inverness and Perth. There's also some disruption to local services in the west, expect delays and cancellations. Trains between between Motherwell and Glasgow will be disrupted until approximately 7.30. Expect cancellations and delays.
Aberdeen airport has re-opened but expect disruption to flights to and from all of Scotland's airports. Passengers are advised to check individual details with their airline.
