It was a pleasure to read the article, my mother was one Agnes (Nessie) Braid, born in Glasgow in 1910, she often spoke of her uncle James and that he was a famous golfer, Oh that I had inherited some of his skill - alas for me I was not blessed with the necessary skills, but I still enjoy the game immensely and am proud to have someone - even distantly related - who did so much for the game of golf, I have played many of the courses he designed, and they are still a challenge to this day
