Surf Lessons
Surfing Lessons in Scotland

If you want to try surfing, it's a really good idea to get a few lessons first. This is important for three main reasons:

1) You will find out, first hand, whether you really enjoy it and, if you do, it'll help you decide what kind of board would best suit your size/ability. If you find that surfing's not your thing, then at least you found out this way and not by spending loads of cash on new gear.

2) Surfing is proper tricky, so any help that you can get from the start will be invaluable.

3) You will be taken to a good, safe break, where you will be able to learn and (hopefully) not drown.

Click on the links below to find out about surfing lessons available in your area:

Edinburgh 1 Glasgow Hebrides
Edinburgh 2 Dunbar Tiree

If you run surfing lessons in Scotland and would like to be added to our list, please email us (airtight@bbc.co.uk) and we'll be glad to put you on the site.
