Kill Bill or Finding Nemo?
I'm halfway through Finding Nemo, so Kill Bill can wait.

How does your girlfriend respond to your skateboarding?
She loves it and hates it.

Steven Spielberg or George Lucas?
The Coen Brothers.

What was the last extravagant treat that you bought yourself?
I bought myself a Schwinn classic cruiser, bicycle, for £65 out of a brick-a-brack shop. What a catch that was! Chrome mud guards, peddle-back brake - the works! Wait till you see it.

With the suspension spring on the front?
With the spring on the front as well [laughs], you ken what I'm talking about!

Favourite films, albums and books?
The book would be 'The Giant Jam Sandwich', that I got when I was in Primary Three. Quality reading there - it was one of the only books I had read for a long, long time.

Was it a page turner?
Every one.

Christopher Brookmyre's a good storyteller - 'Not the End of the World' is a quality book. Michael Moore, I suppose, was the last book that I read - it makes you think a bit more and there's nothing wrong with that. That was 'Stupid White Men' - good book.

Album? Er, Jesus Christ! Anything that Johnny Cash did, you've gotta say that. Metallica: 'Master of Puppets' - peach. The Stupids: anything, 'Retard Picnic'. The Circle Jerks. These aren't the classics, these are just my favourites - but they're classics to me, mind.

Films - 'Shawshank Redemption', good movie. 'Chopper', classic piece of Australian s*** going on there. 'The Castle', for just pure comedy value. 'Goodfellas'.

What kind of films do you prefer?
Comedies - I like to laugh.

If you could add anything to Livi, what would it be?
[Thinks] What do you say there, eh? Jesus Christ!

I asked Ben [Leyden] and he said he'd build it all over again, but opposite, so you could skate it regular and goofy.
[Nods] Right. Ben, that's a [exploitive deleted] answer [laughs]. [exploitive deleted] hell! Erm, I would turn it upside down then, and skate it the other way round.

Snake runs or full pipes?
Snake runs.

Bowls or banks?
Bowls.

Ledges and rails or quarter pipes?
Mmm [Thinks]. I wee bit of both - a nice mix. I skate more transitions and concrete than anything else, but I still like a ledge and the occasional rail, every now and again.

Do you prefer to skate park to street, though?
Aye, definitely. It's easier, for me. I tweaked my ankle - well, I broke it and [exploitive deleted] it up a few years ago and couldn'ae ollie for a long time. Then I went to Livi and just cruised about the place and got it together with that, so that's kind of why I quit skating street.
