North
Ayreshire Skatepark Update:
Work's begun on the Auchenharvie Park in North Ayreshire
and Ross is being super keen. He's taking weekly update pics as well
as sending new info as and when it happens, so check back each week
for the latest. Here's what the site looks like after one week of
digging - it's feckin' HUGE!
On Monday 22nd of November, work finally began on
the new North Ayrshire skatepark which is to be situated behind Auchenharvie
Leisure Centre!
The place was apparently hoachin' with MSP's, MP's,
Councillors, NAC employees, NAL employees, NASG committee members,
bikers and skaters, who'd all gathered to see the first digger move
in.
Work is hopefully going to be finished by April 2005,
so we should have another good (or even great) concrete park
to skate come spring/summer. Great news all round - thanks go out
to everyone who's involved.
