Is there more pressure on you when you skate now?
There's tons more pressure when I skate. Like, every time I go to skate, someone's got a camera in my face, or whenever I turn up somewhere they just expect stuff from you. They just come up to you and ask if you can do tricks, and if you go 'Oh, I've never tried that before', then they're like 'Why?'. So it's weird.

How does you mum feel about you skating? Does she support you in doing it, or does she think you should be doing something else?
Nah man, my mum's given me the most support. She's never stopped me going anywhere and she's always been there, just pushing me 'go there - go to this place'. Actually, a good example was not that long ago when my granny died, and I was supposed to go away for a competition and the funeral was on the same day as the competition, and she was just like 'Look - just go to the competition', you know? So she's always just pushing me to go further and further.

Who is it that you usually skate with?
The people I skate with all the time would be Brian Adams, and Keir Lyndsey. They're like the most well-known people from the area that I skate with, but I skate more with people who I've been friends with for longer. You know, for just through where I stay.

What's been the best event that you've been to so far?
The best event was just this weekend, man. We had a street comp in Glasgow, and everybody from everywhere came and turned up, and it was just such a good time. Everybody just came to our home town and just had the best skate ever. There were people from England who came up and they all said that this is the best stop they've had, you know, so it was just a good time.

Before you became a pro, did you travel as much as you do know?
I travelled a little bit, but not as much as I do now. Like now, I've only had about two weeks at home in the passed three months, so it's been pretty hectic [laughs].

When it comes down to it, do you prefer to skate street or park?
Park's fun man, park is fun, but street's where it's at man. That's where it all begun really innit? So I enjoy street a lot more - it's more creative and harder and it just gives me more excitement.

Do you ever skate vert?
No - I can't skate vert at all, so I don't go near it [laughs].

Do you ever see yourself getting bored of skating?
Never. Someone asked me today if I ever feel like a day off, just chillin and I'm like [laughs] nah man, I get a buzz of it every day I skate so…
