STIRLING
There's hardly any street in Stirling to ride but there is a little concrete skatepark.
The park was revamped a couple of years ago but it still leaves a bit to be desired.
Ah well, a spot is what you make it - the main features are a couple of nobbly
bowls and a midi ramp.
There are also some crazy trails a couple of miles outside Stirling in Cambusbarron:
when you arrive in Cambusbarron, carry on through the main street away from the
church (where the wee newsagents etc are) until you are starting to head out of
the village. There will only be houses on the left hand side. Keep an eye out
on the left for a road with a sign saying 'Quarry Road'. Head up this road to
the top and take a right into a wee car park bit. From here you go straight along
the old road past the three big boulders and take a left up a new gravelly path
about 10 seconds along. Follow this path and it will take you to the wee trails.
If you're wanting to go to the big trails, instead of taking a left earlier on
you go straight ahead and up a small uphill. You follow the main path and turn
right onto a wee grassy patch with loads of rocks along the edge. Ride accross
the grassy bit and you with see the jumps down the hill at the other side.
Thanks to Graham for sending in this spot.
