BMX site in Paisley

PAISLEY

There are some dirt jumps at Barshaw Park (on Glasgow Road). They tend to get worn down a lot, so you may need to do a bit of shoveling first, but that's all part of the joy of trails, isn't it?.
If there is a Celtic or Rangers game, the park is usually deserted, but if there not, the neds might get in your way. If there is a carnival on, the park is usually 'Bam Central'.

Barshaw hill is good for riding down after a long, hard days BMXing - mind the squirrels, though.

In Paisley town centre, if you go up to the high street, there's a statue of a guy with a spear, on a horse - the ledges going up to it are nice`n`waxed and are brilliant for grinding. If you mind the grannies, then you won't get chucked off.

The Lagoon Leisure Centre car park has a few rideable flat banks but they require you to hop up the curb.

Know any good spots? Then why not email them to us: airtight@bbc.co.uk - cheers!
