Dumbarton Studios

Dumbarton Studios is the home of BBC Scotland's long-running drama series River City and since 2008 has played host to numerous film and TV productions including Personal Affairs, Hope Springs, How Not To Live Your Life, Garrow's Law, Eagle of the Ninth and The Deep.

The facility currently offers 70,000 sq ft of studio/build space between three studios (2x 18,000ft and 1x 31,000ft) and a full size back-lot. The studios are acoustically treated to reduce noise pollution and have a 3-phase power supply.

On-site facilities include costume, make-up, dressing rooms, green room, edit suites, catering, production offices, construction space, props store, parking and 24-hour security.

Plans are being drawn up to expand the site in 2010 to include a further studio and improved support facilities.
