Have to agree with Simon, on their day the drumcore can be the best, it was their day at the euros, just a wee bit behind at the worlds. I think the settings are the most musical, you can hear the pipe tune coming through really well in the drumming. Gordon Parks and Wee Andy still have a good influence on this corps. Keep up the good work Keith!

Ah, now I know why I can never get any black tape when I go to the shops !! The piper at 1.01 in the Medley obviously bought the lot !! Only kidding. Very good, I liked the set though the SFU were deserved winners.

So nearly 3 in a row....but still, what an awesome sound. I can see why some people dont like them, but jealousy is a terrible thing! Personally the drum corp are the weak link. When they are on form, they are my favourite, but every now and again they slip a little. Look at the Euro's08. They were awesome in Lisburn. But they just lacked a wee bit of bite compared with one or two other bands on the day. Though i have to say they deserved higher in my opinion, when you compare thier playing to those above them. Richard Parkes and Co have to be considered as one of the greatest pipe bands of all time. Well done.

Awesome outfit and have been since the early 90's. Definetely the most consistent band - have been robbed on numerous occasions and could easily have smashed Strathclydes record of six in row had the judges got ears!!!

This band are without doubt the best band in the world and should of won! The tunes are played excellently, the drone sound is superb. Glad to see they won Cowal. Brilliant drum corp aswell.

The class of the field - no matter what the result might read! The MSR was simply the best ever heard. The Medley, while not their best ever put together, was still played better than anything else on the day! 2009 should be interesting!

Very poor drumming ?Couple of mistakes but hardly poor. Listened to these guys tuning up and believe me they were awesome. Both drum and pipe corps were a joy to listen to.Unlucky not to win this year.<
