Field Marshal Montgomery
The Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band has had a fantastic season so far, winning the Scottish, British, All-Ireland, and European Championships in an undefeated run of 2009 major wins. Runners-up at last year's World Championships and winners of the title in 2006 and 2007, the band has won over 40 major championships and claimed the World title 6 times.

I was in the crowd and was truly blown away by the awesome piping sound and how the pipers played together so tightly. This was my first time at the worlds and these guys were by far my favorite, nice colors too!

These guys must be gutted! That Medley is superb and how they didn't win the MSR is beyond me. Majestic pipe section, innovative mid section and musical snare line - I'll bet they are more determined than ever to get back to the top in 2010.
