Australia Highlanders

The Australia Highlanders Pipe Band (formerly Nunawading) of Melbourne, Australia formed in 1956. Since that time, the band has become one of the most successful pipe bands in Australasia, achieving success in both national and international competitions.

Current Grade 1 Victorian Champions and World Championships finalists, the Australia Highlanders are a major force in the competition arena. Since 2001, the band has captured 27 first places and 4 second prizes from 31 competitions within Australasia. Internationally, the band finished 3rd at the 2008 Ulster Championships, and is a World Championships finalist. AusHigh, as they are affectionately known, are taking big steps on the World stage.
