Black Affair is Steve Mason, ex-singer of the Beta Band. Think Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Model 500 - decadent cyberpop for turbulent times.

It's a solo project, but the live setup includes a couple of London DJ pals from MySpace called the C90s.

The interview has been edited down from the live programme, and Annie McGuire was standing in for Vic.
