The 1990's were chosen for N with their track "You're Supposed To Be My Friend".

how does 1990s get into the alphabet?
Jim R
Naked Voice with their great track Dreamhouse or the indie hit Where Was with Wayne Hussey playing lead guitar.

there was an Aberdeen-based band called "Nervous Choir". Post-punk goth in the mid-1980's. I saw them a few times back in the day. One notable time when they hired a few girl strippers dressed in leather bondage. Err..don't know if their catalogue is available and can't remember any song titles! But I think in all honesty Nazareth are the only obvious contenders...not unless one include 'Nother Pretty Face, pre-Waterboys band ;).

Paulo Nutini Singing 'A mans a man for a' that' is brilliant. Burns would have loved it; I certainly did.

OK So you didn't want Frankie Miller for M. Maybe you'll prefer my choice for N. One of the many from Dunfermline, the great Nazareth. For a track the title track from Razamanaz or the last track on the album, This Flight Tonight.
