Galchen hail from Glasgow, Scotland and have been playing together since late 2005. From the outset their objective has been simple; to create their own individual sound, on their own terms. Owning a recording and rehersal space in Glasgow's southside has allowed them to devote the time to become what is now a real musical force.

Live, Galchens' reputation continues to grow and grow. Superior musicianship teamed with the bands unique dynamics form the guts and heart of all live shows. Each song is set to a dramatic visual backdrop. Created from scratch by the band, the swirling hypnotic projections are operated live, making for an intense and memorable experience. Having supported Belle and Sebastian, !!! (Chk Chk Chk) and Union of Knives, plus several Scottish festival appearances, Galchen continue to make their mark, with shows across Britain and Europe.
