Siobhan Miller

Filmed at A Scottish Songbook at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 16th January 2010.

Winner of BBC Radio 2's Young Folk Award 2008 takes on A Thousand Beautiful Things by Annie Lennox, then Long Hellos Short Goodbyes, by the sadly missed Davy Steele of Battlefield Band fame.

I heard this singer on the BBC Scotland Hogmanay show and have to say that I found her bleating nasality extremely unpleasant! Are we so bereft of singers who can and want to sing auld Scots that we are content to laud someone with such a poor sound?
