About the Concerts
2009 is the 50th anniversary of the death of the Bohemian Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů, and the 20th anniversary of "The Velvet Revolution" so we take the opportunity to celebrate the great tradition of Czech music in five concerts featuring music by Martinů, Dvořák and Janáček.
The first of five concerts begins on Thursday 12 November, 7:00P.M. View the full list of concerts.
Listen to the third concert on iPlayer featuring Martinů's 5th Piano Concerto and Dvořák's The Golden Spinning Wheel and Symphony No 7.
