The Artists
Julia Gooding

Julia Gooding has been described as a soprano with "a perfect voice. a timbre of burnished antique gold" with a "blend of passion, subtlety, technical control and perfect diction" whose "rare gifts add up to a complete singer". Particularly renowned for her interpretation of Baroque music, she enjoys an international career combining both concert and staged performances with recordings for major labels, television and radio.
Nicholas McGegan

Nicholas McGegan is based in the San Francisco Bay area where he is Music Director of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra (PBO). Born in England and educated at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Mr. McGegan has an honorary degree from London’s Royal College of Music and was elected an Honorary Professor of Philosophy at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 2006. An active recording artist, Nicholas McGegan has an extensive discography with the PBO and other performing groups, including the Gottingen Festival Opera and Orchestra, and the Arcadian Academy.
