Click OK to confirm your settings.
After a few moments the video player window should open, and your computer will connect to the clip. It can be several seconds before the clip plays.
Learning Zone Scotland clips cannot be downloaded, however you can still include the videos in a presentation.
Make your presentation in the usual way. Make a slide for your video and include some text about the clip. Go to Learning Zone Scotland and select your clip. Click on the Video options box on the right hand side of the screen.
Click in the relevant location text box. Press Ctrl-A to select the whole location, and Ctrl-C to copy it. For a Mac, use Command-A and Command-C.
Go back to your presentation. Select the text on your page, go to the Insert menu, and choose Hyperlink.... A dialogue box will appear. In the Address field at the bottom, paste the location of the clip. You can do this with Ctrl-V (or Command-V on a Mac).
Click OK in the Edit Hyperlink box and the text in your presentation becomes a link. The text should change colour and become underlined to show it is active. Save your presentation. When you open it again and click on the hyperlink the clip will play. You must be connected to the Internet for this to work.
