Long description: An exploration of the different ways in which people learn about and remember the First World War. Primary school children visit a tank museum while older students travel to the battlefields of Belgium to see the huge cemeteries for themselves. Visitors of different generations explain their interest in the sites and the importance they attach to remembrance.
