The skeleton

The skeleton is the framework of bones which gives shape and support to the body. It also protects the internal organs like the heart and lungs.

In the illustration below, you can see the human skeleton with the labels either on or off by clicking on the 'Labels on' or 'Labels off' button. When the labels are off, you can hover your mouse over the part of the skeleton to see the name of the selected bone.
