Death now holds no fear for me. Having tried my routine for the first time a few weeks ago, I have already died.

See you there. Sound Hall, 8pm Friday 21st.

How about it Muness Views, Ruthodanort, etc.

hi everyone would like to learn gaelic any help please

alexander macdonald from london

you should've told us a couple of gags just for a bit of practise ...!! :-)

soaplady from good luck you ...!!

If I were Alexander MacDonald from London I would be very wary of asking anyone in the Northern Isles about Gaelic...in the words of the Three Peace Suite - "We dinna spik Gaelic here you ken."

Flying Cat from an admiring glance to Soljey

Can we all come to see you? Are you doing a Mrs(Mr) Beale?

aquaerial from whalsay

One of the perennial charms of IB is the total unpredictability of comments. Quite apart from the cultural gaff that EffCee has neatly commented upon, is there any obvious or unobvious connection between SUC and Gaelic? Mind you, I can understand that the firsts SUcomedien/-ne to strut their stuff in Gaelic would bring the house down.

Barney from Swithiod puzzled again

Good luck, Soljey. May the gong not sound before you complete your piece. How many minutes are each of you allocated? Why don't you put the video on ib or youtube (and give us the links)? # As to le Macdonald from London: maybe it would be easier to learn Gaelic if you were to leave merry old England? If not, OUP (and others I suspect) puts out some rather good language CDs.

mjc from IN, USA

Hi Soaplady - don't want to spoil the evening. Keep up the suspense!! mjc, don't know if it'll be filmed. Next stop, the Edinburgh Festival. Practising my Perrier Award acceptance speech already.
