i watched the moonrise..

moonrise at liniclate, benbecula

i watched the moonrise,
late last night..
above the moor,
beyond the croft .

Enchanted by the evening sight,
of moonbeams falling from aloft..
and dripping gently on the loch,
reflections spreading, silver soft.

excert from Hebridean Homeland poem 'i watched the moonrise'

Magical photos, IP. The colour of the sea on the photo with the dog (nice dog, BTW!) is just amazing.

The eyeless house in B&W is very evocative. Colour wouldn't have conveyed the same feeling at all...another beautiful post ip.

Flying Cat from an admiring glance
