Keep making people aware of this Arnish. This must not be allowed to happen. This isn't a 'Save The Planet' thing this is pure greed .. nothing but a few (who care nothing for the Western Isles) getting rich. Sadly it looks as if even some those (councillors) in Lewis have joined the 'not much I can so so I might as well take the money' club.

Last summer we picked up a couple at the Butt lighthouse and gave them a lift to Barvas they were from Anglesey and had experienced a windfarm being built on their doorstep , they described not only the reduction in the value of their home but also the terrible noise given off by the turbines.

How dare you impugn the integrity of these honourable councillors? Just to prove you wrong, we strongly advise them to delay their decision until after the May elections, so that the people of Lewis will all benefit from deciding on the future of the Barvas Moor!

Keep it going, AL. You are a much-needed public thorn in the side of Western Isles Council (not to mention Western Isles Enterprise and the Stornoway Trust, who also have their fingers deep in this rotten pie).
