Hiya everyone!
Well this weekend was an eventful one!
My friend mandy came down for the luing experience. On Friday night when we got onto luing colin the bus driver thought there was something wrong with the bus so a few people went in the car with Johnny b and the rest of us stayed on the bus! Mandy found it quite amusing that at any point the brakes could fail and we would speed down the pier and end up in the sea! Lol
But when we got home I showed her the wonders of cullipool, we went down the beach taking lots of cool photos (I will tru to get them on here soon) and then I showed her “the dump” well what used to be the dump anyway, it was not long ago filled up and covered over and is no longer used. We saw a sheep that appeared to be suicidal at the top of the cliff! Then for the best part of Friday night we got out the maclachlan family quad and spent the night driving about, we went over park and were up to the quads foot plate things in cow dung!! Eeew but anyway it was really good fun and mandy really enjoyed it!
When we got back Laura and Kristina came down and we had a “Patio Party” in febuary I know it was a little crazy but we had candles haribo and “The Vatersay Boys” so it was altogether fabulous!! Our own we ceilidh, great.
Mandy was saying in school today that her trainers were still manky from luing and I told her that her trainers had been “Luingified!” it was class and she told me how much she loved Luing!!
I love having my friends down on luing and they always love coming down, to them and me there is soooo much more to do on luing than in oban, some might disagree but I think waling up and down george street for 12 hours is simply a waste of time and its soooo boring when you could be playing footie, goin down the beach, goin on the quad and basically having great craic on luing or any other island really!

hey everyone this is a quick blog because the bell is about to go and im in school, just to say the christmas and new year on luing was as good as ever and my fund raising ceilidh on the 28th of dec was a cracker, nearly everyone on the island was there and holiday makers and all we showed them how to party luing style. On new years night me and the girls went out first footing, truely grand and i think everyone at some point in their lives should come to luing for new year!! Its been really wild since new year as "glasford gal" already sed and we hav had a couple o half days off!!! all is good on luing! c ya later everyone, plz leave me a comment if u want to know anything about the island because im running out of things to say!! bye guys x

Luing Primary is Fundraising again with its annual Holly Tea, This is when all the primary kids make things to sell. The school board make cakes and hot mince pies for sale. Its on Tommorow night (thurs) at the school, and all the kids will be there helping behind the stales. There is always an amazing raffle and the school is always full to the gunnels with people!!
Im sitting my driving theory on thursday night aswell but believe me as soon as i ahve finnished i will be down to luing school to catch a glimpse of the top class merchindise that the guys have made!!! (I am terribly sorry for my spelling)
It has been rather wild the past few days and on monday morning on my way to school it was a bit rolly on the ferry, you got to give it to the luing ferrymen they are determined to keep the ferry on! As Glasfordgal said, we had a magic weekend in Invergary, and it was so annoying when we had to come back across the ferry in the small passenger ferry, it was blowing a gale and tipping it down, those are the times you really wish you had a bridge!!! lol
but anyway, i will keep you posted on the holly tea and hope to see all luing residents in attendance!!!

hiya everyone, well i know it has been ages since my last blog but i lost my password. i have now made a new one so should be on more now. Alot has happend since my last blog...infact i dont even know if i can remember when that was!! im going on a gap year with project trust next august and have to raise £4190 so i have been busy fundraising with the help of my family and brill friends! I have now raised £2200!!! im totally extatic with the amount we have raised and thanks to all the very generous people of luing who have been comming to all of my events and dontating money! im sooooo gratefull guys!!! Also i cant believe its winter and the clocks have gone back already, its getting dark when we are on our way home from school now, so no more football! but we still play every sunday at the pitch. Its kinda annoying becuase the drainage at the feild is poo and its like playing in a puddle, nevertheless we play every sunday and even saturdays if we can, and in the winder flood lights at the side of the pitch would be a dream, right now we play until we cant see the ball anymore! hahaha, Im also totally excited about next weekend becuase JAM are going away on our great jam getaway 2006!! wooo lol invergary here we come. anyway will be blogging again soon..... byeeeeeeeee xxx

Omg, i ain't dun this in ages....lol!
ALOTS been happening anyway. Em where to start. Well The halloween party was great!
And then there was bonfire night which was great! after the bonfire and amazing display of fireworks, loads a peeps wen back 2 da hall and there was like soup and hotdogs and music. I had sum Of the gals round for the night and my brothers had 2 of the mates round as well. Lots of singing!! lol and NO alcahol involved,(as you can c my spelling ain't much better! sorry 4 the txt tlk) in the end i finally got 2 sleep at 6.30am!

I know on......Monday night, it was really wild, and a power cable came down and then a bull trod on the cable and got shocked.....and died! aww so we were out of power until 11.00am on tuesday. I luv it wen its stormy, me, my dad and brother went out to check my dads boats and met on the road my dads friend, doin the same thing, it was soooo wild but all boats ok and counted for!
Hehehe, me and my friend kristina(hi tiss)went for a walk tonight was well bitter! but sure blew the cob-webs away!
I'm looking forward to goin to Jam christian youth group tomorrow. Im doin da prayer.....
There's goin 2 b a luing drama proformed in febuary, i can't give anything way but i can say it's goin to be very good lots of adults from all over the island are taking part in the proformance of cinderella.....im sure the premiere will be a star studded event....hehehe!
Omg sooo totally annoyed by the celtic rangers score by the way! 2-0 to celtic!
Anyway i gotta go and get sm sleep man....im well tired

Hey guys,
I know i haven't been on for ages but i'm doing exams at the moment and been revising so i haven't really had time. Hoping the results will be o.k, but i don't know about some of them! Got Biology tommorow.....i fing that quite hard. The weather has been amazing here i can't believe it it's like summer has come!!:-) Also i Have been organising the "Cullipool Vs Toberonochy" softball match, I'm Joint captain of the Cullipool team. It's going to be a great day the 4th of June, Softball in the daytime and a ceilidh at night. Luing now hs it's own 'Amarillo' preforming group witch will be showing their first public preformance at that ceilidh!! I can't wait!!
I will try not to leave it as long next time! Hehehehe

Hey,
Today i am so happy beacause as i've probaly already said i have been trying for ages to get msn messenger. Today finnally got it and can now sucessfully chat to all my m8z on line instantly it's cool. Just back from seil i was at our mminister mrs marshall's retirement service thing it was really good i enjoyed it. The cleaned the church, tonight my friend tissy is staying and we are going up someones house to baby sit as there's a st Patriks thing on tonight irish theme. Karioke and such like can't imagine what it will be like.

I been having a great time since my last blog. I hve been going to the ceilidh dancing lessons it's great and really fun! Went to the Scotland v Italy match on saturday with my friends great time was had by all! The best part was we won. Got lot's of mad photo's of me and my mad mates i only wish i had taken them with my mum's digital one then i could of put them on here! We had big scotland flags on our faces! We must of looked such loonies when we got off the bus at calendar for chips!
Should be getting ready for Jam now. The cristian youth gruop on the island. We always have a great time and tonight we are having a quiz. Gotta go guys c ya soon luv Ailsaxxx

Got a big freight today when my geuni pig took ill i asked my auntie(the clean slate) who's good with geani pigs and she thinks it's just that she was soo cold soo got her in the house now to warm up!
Long weekend the now and having a great time. can't be bothered to go back to school!
