Sunset over Lochdon, Isle of Mull
This counts as one of the most amazing sunsets that I have seen since living on Mull. The photo has not been enhanced in anyway and appears exactly as it was recorded.
Hope you enjoy it :-)

One of the only pleasures about the monthly trip to Tesco's is the fact that the ferry ride is always wonderfull for picture oppotinities.Yesturday was no exception. I have learned the hard way to ALWAYS have my camera with me when I pop over the Oban....no matter how awfull the weather is ( and it usually
is when I go to Oban, arriving at Tesco's looking like somthing Ming has brought in out of the rain;-).
Anyway....the cloudier the day,the better the photographs. This trip I concentrated on Lismore Lighthouse :

One of my favourite poems, which I have loved since a child.I always used to sit and imagine being in the Scottish mountains...especially in Autumn and Winter. I may not have been born in the Highlands, but the Highlands were always in the blood.Home is not where you were born....but where you
belong.
"THE SPLENDOUR FALLS ON CASTLE WALLS
AND SNOWEY SUMMETS OLD IN STORY,
THE LONG LIGHT SHAKES ACROSS THE LAKES;
AND THE WILD CATERACT LEAPS IN GLORY.
BLOW, BUGLE, BLOW, SET THE WILD ECHOES FLYING,
BOW, BUGLE,ANSWER ECHOES, DYING, DYING, DYING .
O HARK! , O HEAR! HOW THIN AND CLEAR,
AND THINNER, CLEARER, FARTHER GOING!
O SWEET AND FAR FROM CLIFF AND SCAR
THE HORNS OF ELFLAND FAINTLY BLOWING!
BLOW, LET US HEAR THE PURPLE GLENS REPLYING
BLOW, BUGLE, ANSWER ECHOES, DYING, DYING, DYING......."

Watch out for Aurouras in the skies over Scotland tonight after a large geometric storm . Typically we are having lots of cloud cover at the moment ( here on Mull, anyway), but if you would like to get red alerts straight to your e-mail address, then visit the Auroura alert site below :
http://www.dcs.lancs.ac.uk/iono/aurorawatch/
It's very handy if your keen to see them!
