Like a wet weekend in Merthyr Tydfil...?

We've had a few damp days on Mull this week but by and large the weather has been mild and at least the raid has grounded most of the midges.

The Hebridean Princess made one of its regular visits to the bay yesterday and was accompanied by another as yet unidentified cruiser in similar livery.

There was also a very expensive-looking cruiser of the 'floating gin palace' genre. No-one seems to know who it belongs to but they're clearly not short of a bob or two.

I can assure you there is NOTHING like a 'wet weekend in Merthyr'.... , hang on... or then perhaps you've never been to Blaenau Ffestiniog - oficially the wettest town in UK. It is said (not by me I hasten to add) that it claims this just to dispell the reality of it also being the most awful town in the UK!

Tony from Once lived in Wales

Oh I've been to both and you're not wrong. Blaenau wasn't so bad as Merthyr though.

Cheers

Wettest :- Capel Curig near Betws y coed.
Most awfull town I think some of the slums in South wales take that crown.

For scenery of Blaenau visit www.caeclyd.com
