The Salerno Mutiny of 1943 saw the largest act of mutiny in British military history as around 600 largely Scottish soldiers refused to obey orders believing they had been misled by superior officers. Is mutiny ever justified?

The Scotland's History debates ran from October 2008 to March 2011. They were run in conjunction with the TV series A History of Scotland.
